The Snooze and Archive features are similar in concept, so it can be hard to know which is appropriate in a given situation. The big difference between the two is that snoozing temporarily removes a lead from your Lead Feed, until a time and date that you specify, while archiving permanently removes a lead from your feed. (An archived lead will only return to your feed if the lead reaches out to you again, or if you unarchive it.)
Here are some general guidelines:
Snooze
Use this for leads who plan to work with you in the future, but who won't need your attention for some time, for any reason, such as:
• waiting for pre-approval
• on-hold long term
• taking listing off market for the season
• repairing property to list
• working through a credit issue
Archive
Use this for dead leads, with whom you consider the relationship at an end. For example, when the lead is:
• working with a different agent
• not moving after all
• unable to get financing
• unreachable
• not using an agent
• out of your service area
• unable to find a matching property
